🔍 Job Description:
We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing team at Crab Technologies. 💼 What you’ll be working on:
• Designing and deploying machine learning models to support product and business decisions;
• Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data cleaning;
• Collaborating with engineers to bring data pipelines and models into production (batch and/or real-time);
• Building dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders;
• Supporting experimentation (e.g. A/B testing) and helping define success metrics.
• Openly communicate challenges and suggestions.
• Contribute to promote good practices within teams.
Job Requirements:
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or R), with experience using libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and preferably PyTorch or TensorFlow;
• Solid knowledge of statistics and probability (hypothesis testing, regressions, distributions, etc.);
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), especially for deploying models or working with big data;
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and working with relational databases;
• Experience with tools like Airflow, dbt, Docker, or similar, is a plus;
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and scrutiny;
• Comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Ability and enthusiasm to work collaboratively.
• Committed and not afraid to ask questions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MLOps practices or production monitoring of ML models.
• Exposure to machine learning pipelines and data science workflows.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
